Today Room 12 were delighted to welcome Declan Carville to Omagh County! Declan's book, 'The Magic Harp' has been the focus of our current project for the Strule Creative Initiative.
Declan was here to discuss this book and also treated the children to a read through of two of his other books, 'Valentine O'Byrne Irish Dancer' and 'The Fairy Glen'.
The children gave Declan plenty of excellent ideas for a sequel to 'The Magic Harp', which Declan is going to write before our celebration event at the end of April.
A big thank you to Declan for coming to visit us today and for encouraging us to develop our ideas and love of all things writing and books!
