Year 7 visit Queen's University
25th Apr 2016
On Monday 25th April Year 7 headed up to Belfast to visit Queen's University, following a very special invitation from Professor Fluffy (small, purple, fluffy - possibly not a real professor).
We were given an interesting tour of some of the buildings, including the library, quad and Great Hall. Pupils were then given the challenge of designing a parachute for Prof Fluffy to travel safely from the balcony of the Great Hall. To finish off the children all got to dress up in graduation gowns - in a few years they may well be doing it for real! We had a great day out - many thanks to Professor Fluffy and her human colleagues for arranging everything.
