Year 7 Trip - Day 4
The final day in Morecambe! After checking all the rooms and saying thank you and farewell to our hosts, we hit the loooong and winding road home.
On the way we stopped at the Lakes Aqarium, where we found out all about some local and exotic creatures. We then ate our lunch on the bank of beautiful Lake Windermere, overlooked by a passing steam train - not the kind of thing that happens every day!
Our final stop before the ferry was in Gretna, where we managed to fit in a bit of football and maze solving. We eventually returned home tired but with lots of happy memories of a great few days across the water. Thanks to all staff involved, and of course the pupils, whose behaviour was a credit to our school the whole week. Now to start planning for Bermuda 2017!
