A big well done to all of the boys and girls who took part in the final of the Year 7 Spelling Bee today!
The boys and girls of Year 7 have been working through three rounds for the past number of weeks. Today it was Alex, Abigale, Anna, Harvey, Torin, Scarlett, Angie, Kyle, Nathan, Eliza, Maisie, Mya and Naomi in the final and after a tense few rounds it was down to a final three of Kyle, Alex and Eliza.
Well done to Eliza for coming first and receiving her prize of a £15 Amazon voucher, sponsored by the P7 teachers! It was a nail-biting knockout round! Well done also to our second and third place, Alex and Kyle, who both received an Easter egg each.
Thank you also to Mr Morgan for compering the event so brilliantly and to Primary 6 for being a wonderful and courteous audience.
