Year 7 'Fun Week' 2024!

9th Jun 2024

In P7 we had an action packed week!

On Monday we went to the Omniplex cinema to see 'The Garfield Movie' and enjoyed some lovely treats including popcorn and pick n mix.

On Tuesday we loved our session at Omagh Leisure Complex in the swimming pool at with use of the floats.

Wednesday meant we were off to Airtastic, Craigavon. Everyone had a great time on the trampolines before an hour of mini golf. Then we had a packed lunch before completing an hour of bowling with our friends.

We had tag rugby out on the playing field with Darren on Thursday followed by a trip to the Grange Park. After that we walked to 9th Avenue for a lunch of pizza, goujons and fries!

That evening, we were back in school for 2 hours for fantastic games and dancing by Embrace Socials. It was a fun filled evening for all of us! We even got an ice pop for the way home!

To finish up the week in style, we had the traditional Colour Run at Arleston Park with the whole school cheering us on! Please see the 'Year 7 Colour Run 2024' news article on this website for all the fun photographs from the day! We were then treated to an ice cream, courtesy of the PTFA, when we got back to school.

A big thank you to all the staff at Airtastic Craigavon, Omagh Leisure Complex, Omagh Omniplex, Embrace Socials and 9th Avenue for being so good to us all week! You all helped to make our 'Fun Week' something we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

Also thanks to Darren McGuigan for his excellent tag rugby sessions, as well as the PTFA and 'Disney Delights' ice cream for providing us with a lovely treat after our Colour Run.

Now to get on with the planning for our Leavers' Assembly!!
