This month, Year 7 went on a visit to Omagh Library for an event held by the BBC called 'The BBC Comes To Town'.
Year 7 were divided into small groups, allowing everyone an opportunity to experience the different activities that were available including having a go at presenting BBC Newsline, presenting a BBC Weather report, acting in a radio drama and interactive sports commentary as well as access to a BBC Information desk to find out about BBC apprenticeships and careers. The children also got to experience behind the camera and looked at how to set up before a live broadcast. The activities were facilitated by the fantastic BBC staff.
