Year 6 pupils spent a morning with Fionnuala from Young Enterprise. The topic of the session was Our World. The pupils looked at the different foods and clothing that are exported and imported into and out of Northern Ireland, and we found out that the ingredients of a chicken curry might have travelled up to 48,000km!! We finished off by playing a trading game, which was fun and very competitive. All groups worked really well together and could have kept going for the rest of the day but our winners were Mexico, making over £5000 of profit in about thirty minutes. If only it were real money!!
Well done Year 6 and thanks to Fionnuala - it was a very enjoyable and busy session.
