Year 6 pupils spent a morning with Fionnuala from Young Enterprise. The topic of the session was Our World. The pupils looked at the different foods and clothing that are exported and imported into and out of Northern Ireland, and we found out that a lot of our clothing comes from very far away!! We then had the task of completing jigsaws which helped us learn a little more about trade between different countries and how it happens. We finished off by playing a trading game, which was fun and very competitive. All groups worked really well together and could have kept going for the rest of the day but our winners were the fictional nation of Lobacraw, making over £10000 of profit in about an hour. If only it were real money!!
Well done Year 6 and thanks to Fionnuala and Nicole - it was a very enjoyable and busy session.
