Year 6 had a fantastic afternoon working alongside Jilly and Kyle from Keeping NI Beautiful to create a new Radius Housing Schools Biodiversity Growing Garden at the front of the school. We planted plum, apple and pear trees as well as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackcurrants and blackberries.
Everyone in the class had a chance to dig a hole in the ground and use various tools such as shovels, rakes and watering cans. It is safe to say Year 6 had fun 'in spades'!
