Year 6 Castlewellan Residential
1st Jun 2017
Year 6 have had a terrific day. This morning we looked at the trees in the arboretum for around the world- Iran, Brazil, China and America. We even got to punch a Californian Redwood because its bark is so soft. We also used a key to name the trees from their leaves.
After lunch we had a mini-beast. The best examples were found under rocks and logs. We used a magnifying glass to identify the different vertebrates.
Food great and now off or our next adventure - the maze, nightline and camp-fire.
