On Friday 22nd September Mr Morgan's P6 class had the very special honour of attending the reopening of the Spar shop at Anderson Gardens (near the Omniplex). We were treated as special guests and there was face painting, balloon modelling and a chance to meet the Air Ambulance mascot and Chase from Paw Patrol. We were even given Goody Bags to take back to school.
Huge thanks to the staff and management at the Spar for treating us all so well - Eoin was especially happy to have the job of holding the huge ceremonial scissors. We had such a good time none of the class wanted to go back to school but at least we had our traditional Friday Tests to look forward to as evidenced in the last picture.
I can confirm that 6GM are available for any other such VIP events and have asked Miss Funston can we have our own ceremonial scissors and ribbon to keep handy just in case.
