The boys and girls in Year 2 have been learning about woodland animals and their homes. Today on route to Forest School, they were keeping an eye out for any birds nests and squirrel dreys in the trees. Then searched for badger setts, fox earths and any pile of leaves with a hedgehog inside.
They then had lots of fun making the different homes for the animals using resources from the woods, just as the animals would do. Some animals then did make an appearance! Can you spot them and tell your grown up what their home is called?
