Year 1 spring into action!
Year 1 were delighted to see the sun shine (for at least a few hours) in Omagh this week. The boys and girls got stuck into the flower beds…weeding, planting and pruning! In class, we have been exploring symmetry by painting butterflies - can you spot any of our beautiful creations in the photographs? During our trip to Hill at the High, we spotted lots of signs of spring. New growth, daffodils, flowers budding and birds singing. Some very enthusiastic diggers even uncovered a real ‘spring’ buried within the hill!
Mrs Williamson celebrated a very special birthday in school this week. We all enjoyed a little party in class topped off with some of Ms Bunce’s yummy chocolate cake! Happy Birthday Mrs Williamson 🎂
