Year 1 showcase their artistic talents at Forest School
The boys and girls in Year 1 demonstrated their amazing artistic skills at Forest School this week. They used ‘treasure’ from the forest floor to create detailed works of art. Can you spot a tractor towing a trailer, the sun, flowers or a treehouse? Don’t worry, they didn’t take any of the treasures back to school. It was all left behind for the wild animals or someone else to enjoy.
Also this week, everyone enjoyed making a butter or jam sandwich in the classroom. This time, there wasn’t a single sandwich left because they were too tasty to resist. If you’re not sure how to make a sandwich, take a look in our writing books. We’ve written the instructions down!
Have a lovely long weekend boys and girls. There’s no school on Monday on Tuesday. We’ll see you next Wednesday for our last trip to Forest School in Year
