When planning our topic of 'Christmas' Year 1 said they would like to go on a magical train journey to the North Pole....so today we did just that!
We designed and built our very own carriages, made train tickets and today donned our favourite PJ's to board Omagh County's very own 'Polar Express'.
After wishing very hard the magic whisked us off to all sorts of wild and wonderful places. We visited the jungle, went swimming under water with the sharks and finally ended up in the North Pole. Making such a long journey meant we had worked up an appetite, so we satisfied our taste buds with hot chocolate and marshmallows before making our way back to school again.
