The rain didn't dampen the spirits at forest school this week, as Year 1 headed off to explore on Wednesday morning.
Everyone had lots of fun making different sized 2D shapes while using comparative language to describe their creations. Poor Goldilocks joined us for the trip but was very sad that she didn't have her own bed in the forest (we all know what happened when she tried to sleep in baby bear's bed). Year 1 came up with a brilliant idea - to build Goldilocks her very own bed using forest treasures! Goldilocks was spoilt for choice with all of their designs.
Yummy sandwiches and oranges fuelled everyone up for the long walk back to school. What a great day out!
