Year 1 are going on a bear hunt and they’re going to catch a big one!
This week, we have been enjoying the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. With this in mind, we went on our own bear hunt to Forest School. We tried going over, under and through the different obstacles but had no luck in finding any real bears.
In small teams, we worked together to design and build bear caves. Some of them were so creative that the adults thought they might move in themselves!
Our butterflies finally made an appearance this week, it was time to release them into the school garden. We loved making the most of the opportunity to hold them before they flew off on their next adventure.
Have a lovely weekend Year 1, enjoy some more sunshine!
