This week, the children in Year 1 started their topic ‘Autumn’. New play activities, including a fruit and vegetable shop, sparked lots of excitement. Both classes enjoyed showing the various autumn ‘treasures’ they had found when out walking with their families. The many leaves, conkers, pine cones and fruit made the perfect content for our new 'investigation station.'
We can't wait to go on our autumn adventure to St Columba's Church on Monday. I wonder what we will see, hear, smell, touch and taste? Remember to wear full school uniform and bring a warm coat. No snack required!
