Year 1 Adventure to Forest School 🌲
Year 1 made the most of the sunshine this week and headed to Forest School.
The boys and girls have been working hard to learn the rules of our outdoor classroom in Arleston Park. On Tuesday, they showed the adults just how brilliant they are at staying within the ‘safe’ boundary by playing follow the leader. Can you spot us going over, under and through the branches in our photographs?
After, it was time to show off our artistic talents as we used a combination of wide, narrow, long and thin sticks to create our own spring tree pictures. Why not ask us to find some sticks at home and use these words to compare them?
This week’s Forest School snack included breadsticks, pineapple, cucumber and cheese. Yum yum!
We can’t wait to return next week!
