Year 1 have been extremely busy since returning from their half term holidays. Pancake Day, World Book Day and even a Snow Day in the past two weeks!
This week we had great fun making and eating pancakes. It was great to see so many children trying new foods and flavours on top of their pancake - well done for being so brave Year 1. After indulging in all the eating, everyone enjoyed taking part in pancake races to to get their body moving.
We were so proud of all the children in Year 1 for participating in our school Fashion Show as part of World Book Day...what a brave thing to do. Hopefully you have had a chance to watch the little video on the school website. It was a real treat to see all of the creative Year 2 and 3 costumes up close!
Year 1 have certainly earned a rest this weekend after such a hectic few weeks. Enjoy a lie in tomorrow morning boys and girls.
