"Doctor Doctor" in Year 1!
This week, baby Jack and baby Annabelle from our home corner took unwell. We had to rush them to our newly opened baby hospital. Lucklily lots of Year 1 doctors and nurses were on hand to help. The children are having great fun exploring our topic 'All About Me' and have been using wonderful language in their role play this week.
During Literacy and Numeracy we are now participating in small group games and written activities. Everyone is very proud of the work they produce in their special Year 1 books. The boys and girls are making excellent progress at remaining in their seat for the duration of a task.
This week ask Year 1 about...
- Which bin our litter goes into?
- Squares and circles
- The number 2
- What happens to babies when the grow up?
- Using an iPad to take a photograph
Have a lovely weekend Year 1, we look forward to seeing you again on Monday morning!
