A 'bear-illiant' week in Year 1!
21st May 2021
Our little bears in Year 1 enjoyed a special treat today as we all tucked into porridge as our Friday snack. Some liked it hot, some liked it cold and some liked it with plenty of sugar. Yum Yum! Well done to all of the boys and girls who tried porridge for the first time - it turned out to be so popular there wasn't even any left for Mrs Pollock or Miss Peters!
This we week we were busy...
- Building words with the 'th' sound
- Using our imagination to help us write about a bear hunt
- Going on a bear hunt in the garden
- Counting and recording number stories
- Continuing to practice number words
- Continuing to learn about bears and their habitats
- Painting different types of bears
- Labelling a teddy bear
- Building dens in the forest
Have a lovely weekend and enjoy plenty of rest after another action packed week!
