"Doctor Doctor!" Year 1 open a baby hospital
1st Oct 2021
Poor baby Charlie and baby Theia were feeling under the weather this week, both developed bad coughs and had very smelly nappies. Luckily, Year 1 were on hand to set up a baby hospital and put their nursing skills to good use. Thankfully both babies are recovering well and were discharged this afternoon!
This week we have been exploring...
- Word building with the sounds s,a, t and m
- Letter formation of s and a
- Numbers 1 and 2
- Sorting Numicon
- 2D shapes - squares and circles
- Sequencing baby to adult
- Taking photographs using the ipad
- How to keep our bodies healthy
- Which bin our rubbish goes into
The arrival of baby Kyle and baby Arlo has caused much excitement in Year 1 this week. What perfect timing as we mark the end of our topic 'All About Me'. Well done Amelia and Alex for sharing your news with the class - what good helpers you are going to be at home!
