Well done Year 1 for making it through your first full five day week! You have made us so proud by how well you have settled into life at OCPS and we just love to see those big smiles skipping through our gate in the morning.
This week we have been busy getting to know the new names in our class and adapting to the rules and routines of school. We are so glad you are all such great listeners. We have been revising our colours and even got into the school garden for a special nature colour hunt. We are getting faster at putting on and taking off our puddle-suits every day - they are proving very useful in our wet September weather!
We were excited to start our new topic 'All About Me' and can't wait to explore it more over the coming weeks. This week we measured how tall we are and found out who was 4 and who was 5. We will have lots of birthdays to celebrate throughout the year!
