This week we have been enjoying exploring our new topic 'All About Me'. The children have talked confidently about themselves using their photographs as prompts - it has been a great way for us all to get to know each other a little bit better.
Our weekly activities have included...
- Data Handling - representing our hair colour, eye colour and age on different graphs
- Using comparative language to talk about our graphs
- Labelling the parts of the body
- Making a big book about our school
- Finding and making circles in the school garden
- Learning to recognise our name and begin to write it
- Using scissors and glue
- Recording written work in our school books
