Year 1 blasted off into the topic of space in January - and have been on quite the adventure over the past 6 weeks.
The boys and girls were excited to learn about space and were full of interesting questions and ideas to encourage us to delve deeper into the subject. Through 'play' we explored the planets, gravity, space travel and life as an astronaut. After building our own rocket ship we even got to experience what it was like to land and walk on the moon. Amazing! The budding scientists among us even planned and carried out a series of experiments to create an explosion to help us 'BLAST OFF!'
