The Year 3’s carried out some practical maths in the forest today completing various challenges such as ..’find some twigs less than 30cm’s’ or ‘can you make 1 metre using 3 different lengths of twigs?’ Group work and problem solving was evident during the morning work and it was lovely to listen to the mathematical language from the class as they worked collaboratively.
We rounded off our morning making nature wrist bands which looked really pretty and after all that outdoor classroom work, we quenched our thirst by eating juicy ice-lollies! Well done Year 3’s for working so well.🍭
