Trees for Bees
We changed into our wellies and tracksuit bottoms. Then we had to walk to McCauley Park.We had to plant apple trees for the bees. First we had to dig a hole with a spade next we had to keep digging. Then we put the apple tree in the hole. We had to put a green stick to support the apple tree while it grows.
Then we went to another field and planted more apple trees. Michael, Julie and Sarah-Jayne helped us. I enjoyed working with Dani. Then we said good-bye and we went back to school for snack. I had a great fun with them and I know the bees would like to eat the apples. My favourite part was digging the holes with spades.
