This week, Primary Three have been introduced to 'Tens and Units' in their Numeracy sessions. We have been exploring how the place of a digit indicates its value! We enjoyed lots of practical and recorded activities over the past two days, dividing a 2-digit number into tens and units. We really enjoyed using Numicon and Deines to help us with our numbers.
