On Wednesday 1st June Omagh County hosted the local heat of the 2016 Sentinus Technology Challenge. Teams of three creatively minded pupils from a wide range of schools competed to design a structurally sound tower to hold a certain weight. They were only allowed to use simple materials - so no welding goggles were required. Our team of year 7s thoroughly enjoyed their morning and I'm glad to report their tower is still standing - just!
