Players from Year 6 and Year 7 made the very short trip out to Campsie Playing Fields to take part in a series of rugby matches against Gibson, McClintock and Jones Memorial Primary Schools. This was mostly about getting to know the game and learning new skills, and as this was a contact event they had to do plenty of tackling and wrestling for the ball. They had lots of fun and tried really hard in each game and we even scored quite a few tries! Many thanks to Darren McGuigan for coming in to coach the boys and girls and for organising the competition, and to Mr Crosbie for coming along to sort the team out on the day. Tag rugby next week!!
