P5 junk model
4th Apr 2025
Our Primary 5 class stepped back in time today!
As part of our World War II project, the pupils rolled up their sleeves and got creative with junk modeling to build their very own Anderson Shelters! Using cardboard, foil, recycled materials and plenty of imagination, they learned about the importance of these shelters during the Blitz and what life might have been like for families seeking safety.
We’re so proud of their teamwork, problem-solving, and historical thinking – not to mention their amazing models!
Great job, P5 – history really came to life in the classroom today!
