P4 had a great day on Friday learning about life during World War Two. Rita and Corporal Michael from the Active Learning Company provided lots of wonderful learning experiences for us. We spent the morning completing different challenges including: making shadows on the wall, searching for wartime artefacts, cracking secret codes, identifying wartime weapons and planes, making evacuee labels, playing wartime games and dressing up! In the afternoon we made army medals and performed a marching drill. Oliver was the P4 marching champion! Huge thanks to our Mums and Dads for helping to pay for the event.
