On Wednesday 15th November P4 visited The Ulster American Folk Park to find out about life long ago. There were people in each building to take us back in time. We learned lots of sayings from long ago like.... turfed out and toe the line! We tasted delicious pancakes, handled the turf and sheep's wool and even tried to squeeze four into a bed! The rain stayed away and we had a really super day, the children behaved impeccably and deserved a night off written homework!
