P4 created their own '3 fold 1 cut' books today and spent World Book Day creating their own stories to share with the class. We used 'The World's Worst Children' as a stimulus. It was just lovely to see the children working together with their friends to create their own text. All motivated, enthusiastic and writing for a purpose.
Big thanks to the PTFA for the new class dictionaries, these were very useful for developing our independence!
