P2 really enjoyed their first trip to Forest School this year! As part of our ‘Percy the Park keeper’ topic, P2 have been learning about woodland animals and today’s activities had a very prickly theme! We started off by singing ‘Harry the Hedgehog’. Next we made our very own hedgehogs using salt dough and finds from the forest floor. Finally we had a treasure hunt to find some worms for our hedgehogs to eat! Some of our hedgehogs have made it home to your gardens, others are already hibernating in nests made from leaves in Arleston Park! Can you remember some facts about hedgehogs?
