This week P2 used their 5 senses to make and explore popcorn. First, we could hear the popcorn go 'pop'. Then we could smell it. Next we used our sense of sight to look at the popcorn before we got to touch it. Finally, the best bit of all, we got to taste it! We tried two different types of popcorn - sweet and salty. Which did you like best?
In Numeracy we made a Venn Diagram to show if we liked, sweet popcorn, salty popcorn, both or none. P2 were able to discuss and answer questions about the information we collected.
Finally we watched 'Popcorn' by Frank Asch. It was a very funny story but poor Sam never wanted to eat popcorn again!
