There are definitely some chef's in the making at Omagh County Nursery! The children loved chopping the vegetables, counting the carrots and potatoes and stirring the pot as their soup bubbled away. They even enjoyed washing and drying the dishes! Our secret ingredient was our home grown celery (thanks to Carol Wright!)
Then for snack, we got to sample the home-made vegetable soup! Some children were very brave and tasted a little bit (just to confirm they didn't like it) while some of the others enjoyed it so much, they asked for another bowl...or two. Overall, a fun day and a fantastic soup!
