November in Year 4 - Mrs Alcorn's Class
Year 4 have been really busy during the month of November.
They have been learning about:
- written subtraction, multiplication , 2D shapes and angles in Numeracy
- nouns and adjectives in Literacy
- electricity and circuits in World Around Us
- making Powerpoints in ICT
- bullying behaviours and what to do if we are bullied in PDMU.
During Activity Time pupils have also been designing and creating time machines from junk materials and planning algorthims for Beebot our class robot.
We also had two visitors this month. The Baptist Church came in and told us all about the Bible. We all loved hearing the stories and dressing up like people in Bible times. Both Alex and Emily's dads also came in to talk to us about electricity and how we can keep ourselves safe.
