P2 took full advantage of the fabulous sunflowers that Miss Bleakley gave us by using them in our maths lesson!
We worked in groups to order sunflowers according to height. Then we estimated and measured how tall they were using non-standard units. We had fantastic observations, estimations and very careful measuring!
The best bit was getting to bring a sunflower home at the end of the day. As you watch it grow, why not measure it every week to see how tall it will get?
