Manchester Science and Transport Museum
Wednesday 3rd May
After a picnic lunch, with the sun shining down upon us, it was off to the Manchester Science and Transport Museum.
The museum was split into different sections...... There was an 'Experiment' floor with hands on experiments on different areas is science.....light, forces, colour and environmental science.
There was a Power House which had a display of steam engines and trains.
in the Space House there were old aeroplanes, cars and motor bikes. There was even a simulator in which you felt you were flying an aeroplane.
There was also an exhibit all about Manchester as a hub of the textile industry. We got to see a demonstration which charted the journey of cotton to cloth.....it was really interesting.
