P2 took our maths lesson to a whole new level by doing some measuring at forest school!
We had a boys v girls competition to see who could make the longest snake. The boys won, but it was a very close! Can remember how many feet long the snakes were?
We selected some sticks to order according to length and then we chose a nonstandard unit to measure them by.
Why not do some more measuring at home in the sunshine? You could measure in hands, feet, lego bricks, spoons etc.
