Room 1 have had a magical March. Tuesday 1st March was Pancake Tuesday and we made lovely pancakes for a snack in class. Strawberries and chocolate were are favourite filling J
Thursday 3rd March was World Book Day and we dressed up as our favourite characters. Some of us were not in school but that did not stop us from joining in the fun.
The Dog’s Trust visited school to talk about the Five Happy Dog Rules. We learned a lot about keeping our dogs happy and keeping ourselves safe.
We made Fifteens in sensory cooking. It was great fun using rolling pins to crush the biscuits. We decided not to use the cherries as most of us do not like them and we wanted to eat our delicious treats.
We have learned all about weight in our topic maths. We used balancing scales to help us to compare the weight of different objects to see which one was heaviest and which on was the lightest.
In sensory cooking we made Pitta Pizzas to take home – they were delicious J
