Nursery to Year 7 children in Omagh County Primary school celebrated their love of reading and books by having a “Mary Poppins” themed day, based on the well known story written by P.L Travers. Children enjoyed a variety of activities from dressing up as a character from the story to designing their very own kite based on their favourite book. Older children also had the opportunity to read a story to a younger child and share their favourite stories. All in all, it was a, “Practically perfect in every way” day!!
