If you go down to the woods today beware of…Year 1! 🧸
Year 1 are thoroughly enjoying their new topic...BEARS!
This week at 'Forest School' we went on bear hunt and were disappointed to not find any real bears in Arleston Park. The boys and girls decided we would create our own bears to live in the trees instead. Enjoy looking at our wonderful work!
We haven't forgotten our topic of Spring and are still carefully monitoring the progress of our caterpillars. This week two of them completed the process of 'metamorphosis' and came out of their cacoon as beautiful butterflies. I wonder how many more we will have this week? We also loved welcoming Andrew McKelvey and his pet lamb to Year 1 on Friday. What an exciting treat! Andrew even let us have a go at feeding the lamb it's milk. We won't tell Mr Anderson about the little mess the lamb left behind.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
