Our final day of the school year was a day of mixed emotions in Omagh County Primary School. As much as we were excited to start our Summer holidays we were sad to say goodbye to Mrs Crawford, Mr Williams and Miss Ward.
Mrs Crawford has taught for 30 years in Omagh County PS and hundreds of children have had the privilege of starting Year 1 with her as their teacher. She has been a truly inspirational and committed teacher and she will be greatly missed by the children, their parents and us her colleagues. Thank you Mrs Crawford and enjoy your retirement.
Mr Williams is off to sunnier skies in Spain where he will take up a new teaching post in September and Miss Ward is looking forward to starting married life as she prepares for her wedding in July. Thank you both for the many wonderful contributions you have made to school life and please keep in touch.
As you will see from our photographs the staff of Omagh County well and truly know how to throw a good send off party! Thank you Mrs Dolan for preparing our amazing lunch.
