Year 1 celebrated Valentine's Day in style.
Emma Stewart (owner of Truly Scrumptious Cakes) kindly led a morning masterclass in cupcake decorating, ably assisted by her Son Ben. The children each got to try out their skills on their own cupcake...it is fair to say we definitely have lots of budding bakers in the making!
To work off the many yummy cupcakes, we danced our way through an aerobics class with Nursery before lunch.
In the afternoon we had a special Valentine themed Play Based Learning where romance was well in truly in the air. From the perfume factory to chocolate makers there were happy hearts all round!
