Fun had by all on Maths Challenge Day!

On Friday 24th October we had a visit from the Happy Puzzle Company as part of a Maths Challenge Day. The day included hands-on programmes for all children from Year 1-7. Children worked in teams using giant puzzles and challenges to improve their thinking skills, communication, maths, logical reasoning and team skills. The programme also teaches children how to persevere and overcome difficulties by approaching problems from different perspectives. The Challenge Day served to compliment the on-going classroom practice in the areas of Problems Solving and Investigations.
