February in Year 4 seemed to be a very short month despite having an extra day!
The boys and girls have continued with their World Around Us topic of 'Water and Bridges' and have loved building and researching bridges during Activity Time.
In Numeracy they learned about 'Capacity' and the importance of using millilitres and litres. They even got a little wet estimating and measuring the capacity of different containers too!
At the end of February Year 4 also finished learning the multiplication tables and moved on to developing an understanding of division.
In ICT they created amazing animated 3D shapes which showcased their in depth knowledge of each of the properties . They enjoyed word processing their own colour poems that they had written during Literacy.
