This morning Year 1 took a closer look at a pumpkin. We used our senses to explore the pumpkin on the outside - we said it was hard, heavy, cold and orange. Then we sat very quietly as the pumpkin was cut open. Inside the pumpkin was gooey, sticky, slimy, soft and web like. We used brilliant language to describe our pumpkin.
